The present continuous emphasizes the continuing nature of an act, event, or condition.

🔵 For example :

I'm playing.
He is having lunch.
I'm coming.
She is having a bath at the moment.
Right now, Mark is talking to her manager.

👉 Past Continuous Tense

The past continuous tense is used to described actions ongoing in the past.

🔴 For example :

I was playing.
You were studying when he called.
She was writing a letter when the phone rang.
What were you doing when the earthquake started?
