The military has stricter rules about engaging with deadly force than these "peace officers".
"Threat" retreating? ☑
No weapon visible or implied? ☑
Physically non-imposing/single child with 2 officers? ☑
All three of those on their own would lead to at least a manslaughter charge if cops played by the same rules the rest of us do.
They tried to impose physical fitness standards but the police unions fought it. But this, this is Life or Death bare bones standards.
Cops are issued military grade equipment. They’re on edge like they’re deployed to a war zone. They need to be at a minimum held to military engagement standards. Hearts and minds type stuff.
